The Mom Behind This Viral Photo! (exclusive)
/Tammie Hamed was thrilled to meet one of her favorite actors, Norman Reedus AKA Daryl on a hit AMC series , The walking Dead, but what she didn't expect was that her photo would go viral within hours.
This photo has been posted in many breastfeeding support sites and even made it's way on The Huffington Post, but what happens next was even more shocking! Norman Reedus shared it on his personal Instagram account!
At this point, I had to hunt Tammie down and see what was going through her head. I let her know how amazing her and her friend are for thinking up such a powerful message. Celebrity endorsement of breastfeeding is huge in the Normalizing breastfeeding movement and she agreed. Tammie was surprised with a ticket to meet Norman Reedus at Horror Hound. Tammie says,
"I was SO excited to see Norman's excitement. It was an amazing experience to feel that support from such an adored celebrity. We never expected this kind of attention from this pic. It is exciting to know how well we are supported! This was one of the best experiences I've ever had. It was such an honor and I'm thrilled to have this amazing picture to hang in my home."
