I was contacted by Amamante Nursingwear to have one of their Nursing Gowns reviewed and their bra. I had them send the Gown to Karen (BFMT volunteer for our private groups) and BFMT overall groups manager Stephanie received the Bra. Lets just dig right in here.

Karen describes the gown as soft, Comfortable Stretchy in the breast without losing shape when you put it back,

The elastic under the breasts is nice and wide and fits perfectly without being tight. It's much more comfortable than the under bust elastic on shelf bra tank tops.

The v-neck cleavage area has light elastic to make it stretch easily and then stay in place (boob out or boob in).

Their gowns retail between $44-$46.

The Amamante Nursingwear Gown is easy to pull down, stays put. (Stays put without the bra too but you don't get a pic of that , haha!).

She was very pleased to mention how when she got puked on (while wearing the Amamante Gown it was easy to wipe off! Which is definitely a quality to mention. mamas with babies know all too well about those late night spit up moments. She was very please about the fact that the length... perfectly long enough to bend over and not worry about her butt showing, and perfectly short enough to be able to squat to help my kid without worrying about stepping on the hem. (By the way, she's  5'7" which is exactly average height for women).

Karen also mentions-  So you know how when you wear a skirt or dress, and you go to use the toilet, so you pull it up and bunch the fabric on your lap while you sit. And some dresses then keep slipping down your butt and end up touching thw toilet seat? This one doesn't. It stays put. And I have no hips at all. But because of the rayon/spandex fabric, it stays put.  Slept in it bra less. Used bra pads even though I don't need them anymore but I wanted to see how well they stayed put. They stayed put really well. No movement except when I pulled the top down to nurse.
